Educator professional development

Facilitate collaborative learning among groups of educators and stakeholders using improvement science and other tools with the goal of addressing a shared challenge.

Current work includes:

• supporting the initiation of a network of middle and high schools working collaboratively with a university partner to improve virtual teaching and learning

• teaching improvement science tools and processes within structured courses

Strategy development and coaching

Provide individual and team coaching and strategy support for school and system leaders with respect to their reform efforts.

Current work includes:

• building professional education program coherence and alignment

• coaching individuals as they lead improvement teams to do cycles of inquiry

• coaching a network director to facilitate network learning

Giving and receiving feedback

Train educators to capture and provide actionable feedback using classroom observations or videos, and facilitate feedback conversations that support instructional improvement.
